I do this meme every year just so I have some recollection of what happened, but I find some of the questions rather difficult to answer because they simplify things a little too much. Of course, I've been using a cut down version of the meme that only had 27 of the 40 questions anyway.
I think "What small (or big) thing did you do that you're most/least proud of?" is a much better way of phrasing "What was your biggest achievement/failure?". I never know how to answer the latter question because failure depends on perspective and what you did in response to the "unfavourable" situation. I'd agree that #23 is less relevant to most people.
