fic: writing round-up & reposts from
expositionary.

So, because I like things to be neat & tidy, I finally got around to locking down my now-defunct fandom/writing journal,
expositionary, and reposting the fics here.
What I've post is always a fraction of what I write -- original fiction is still gathering dust on my hard drive. None of this is new & you're not in the least obliged to read any of it (especially if you're not fannishly inclined), but. In case you either missed the first posting or want to poke/mock it, it's here. Concrit is, as always, gold.
Three browsing options:
a) the links posted under the cut,
b) the tag love letters to literature,
c) scroll right on by (this option recommended for best results).
Stories in the Harry Potter fandom -- some Remus/Sirius, but all are more or less gen or background pairings -- with the exception of one (short) Young Wizards story.
Stumbling into Battle
Remus gen; PG; 2800 words. Fragments and snapshots of what falls between the cracks and forgotten, outshone by the glory of war. This is not a repost -- it was first posted at this journal.
Remnants of a War
Remus-centric, background Remus/Sirius; PG; 3500 words. In the aftermath of the first war, Remus deals with betrayal, loss, and displacement. -- I'm still proud of this one, which sort of says a lot.
Transitional
Remus, Lily, werewolves; PG13; 400 words. There exist some things that no one wants to see. -- A spin-off idea from a rather epic story about Remus and werewolves, which has been in progress for a year and will likely never be finished.
This Is the Way the World Ends
The Lone Power; PG; 500 words. In my beginning is my end. A look at an apocalypse, of sorts, through the eyes of the Lone Power.
All the Falling Stars
Remus-centric, Remus/Sirius; PG; 1001 words. The only quiet Sirius is a Sirius waiting to detonate. -- In hindsight, I suspect this one's a bit pretentious.
Dogdays Runaway (Various Installments)
A writing collaborative I had the privilege to be part of last summer; explained at the post.
Also The Consequences of Springtime and A Definition of Longing, but, being sort of cringe-worthy now, they're only here for posterity's sake.
And now, I am starting one of two English essays (due next week, worth 20% of my final IB English mark, cumulatively) and not coming up for air until I've finished, damn it. You know what would be good? If I could find my copy of the novel I'm supposed to be analysing.
